"הכתיבה באנגלית אפשרה לי לבטא רגשות שלא העזתי להגיד לעצמי. השפה הזרה מאפשרת לי מרחק מדומה, ואת החופש להיות אמיצה. לקח לי שנים להתמודד עם ההשלכות של המציאות שהובילה לשיר הזה, ושמחה שאני סוף סוף מעזה לתת לו לצאת לעולם"
